ABOUT ME

Parker is born and raised in NYC, now based in LA. She’s a writer/director who graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and now works across narrative and documentary stories. Parker’s debut feature documentary, CUSP (Sundance, U.S. Documentary Special Jury Award for Emerging Filmmaker) was released by Showtime in 2021, and garnered nominations from the American Society of Cinematographers, IDA Awards and Cinema Eye Honors for best cinematography. Hill was named as one of Hollywood Reporter’s “Next Big Thing: 10 Documentary Filmmakers Speaking Truth to Power.”

Her short films have screening at festivals around the world, including ONE GOOD PITCH (Tribeca, 2016), HOMING IN (BFI London Film Festival 2017, Short of the Week, MoMA Future of Film is Female), and SANDERSON TO BRACKETTVILLE (Vimeo Staff Pick).

As a commercial director, Parker works with brands to seamlessly weave the emotional with the visual, and tell stories that feel honest, vibrant and poignant. Named in SHOOT magazine’s New Director’s Showcase, Parker’s branded style resonates and has connected with several brands including Ford, ESPN, CVS, and Netflix.

Parker is a published photographer whose work has been featured in the NY Times, Pro Publica and several online magazines including Kodak’s podcast The Kodakery. Parker loves analogue photography. She used to go to summer camp, and her favorite TV show is The West Wing.
